Since I neglected to post on my blog during the Christmas season (oops) I just had to share one of my favorite watercolor paintings of the season. I hope everyone’s Christmas was merry and your new year is off to a great start!
This is my favorite display and here is why. My family helped me put this together last spring. The black base was a coat rack made by my oldest son for a 4-H project many years ago. The shelves were found on a shopping trip to the local craft store with my neice and got a second life after years of use displaying stamps. My husband cut out the sign, did some painting, and put it all together to make it a free standing unit to display my art. Then my Husband and my son delivered it to where it sits now at Fox + Clover Marketshops were my daughter helps me keep it stocked with new and fun cards.
What a beautiful night for the lighting ceremony in Old Town Fort Collins. My Christmas cards are now in stock at Walnut Creek with new designs coming in weekly until Christmas.
I will be painting thankful magnets in my studio at Fox + Clover on Sunday. Stop on by if you feel like painting 🖌
Sporting my new shirt I got for my birthday! Thanks Stef your the best❤
Today we started setting up my new watercolor studio inside Fox + Clover Marketplace. I have walls and a window! I’m thankful for my family for helping with this project ❤
I am so thrilled to announce I am opening a working studio inside Fox & Clover Marketshops! It’s time to make dreams come true and I’m on my way to making that happen. Stay tuned for new and exciting things happening at Thru The Paintbrush 🖌
Summer is over already and fall is just around the corner from us 🍃🍂🍁 . What a busy month it has been with so many new things happening around me. My youngest son is away at college, my mother has moved to Colorado, my middle son has moved back home for awhile and my baby girl is a junior in high school and learning to drive. My head is kinda spinning haha. It’s time to relax and take a breath. Happy fall ya all!
Still not painting but I’m staying very busy. We are doing the college drop off thing this week. 😥 He’s the one on my right and yes you guessed it I’m the one with the mom shirt on. This is so very hard they grow up so fast 💔 I may be sad but I am also beaming with pride 😊
Not alot of painting going on. Still in Illinois with my daughter helping out my mom. Not alot of time for painting. Recharging and looking for my inspiration.
