I illustrated my first picture book and it’s a dream come true!

Today marks the date that Kate and I released our first picture book! I have been so excited to share this new chapter in my life and today is the day! This has been a lifelong dream of mine and an inspiring new way for me to share my love of painting. I am planning some special events with lots of fun stuff including this book. I will post more about that later.                                                                                        The book is titled “Do Geese Have Teeth”  and Kate Grant is the author and I’m honored she chose me to be the illustrator of her darling book ❤️

Happy September 🍃🍂🍁

Summer is over already and fall is just around the corner from us 🍃🍂🍁 . What a busy month it has been with so many new things happening around me. My youngest son is away at college, my mother has moved to Colorado, my middle son has moved back home for awhile and my baby girl is a junior in high school and learning to drive. My head is kinda spinning haha. It’s time to relax and take a breath. Happy fall ya all!

August is here

August is here already! Wow the summer is flying by! So much I planned to do but didnt. My son leaves our home in Colorado and starts college across the country in 2 short weeks and my mothers health problems have me here in Illinois. I wish I could be in two places at once. 💔 life can change so quickly. Enjoy the moments you have with the ones you love and remember “If life gives you lemons make sweet tea” ❤🍋🥤#thruthepaintbrush #sweettea #watercolorcalendars
